Karaage
Ingredients (4 servings):
600 g chicken meat
1 tbsp sake
1/4 cup soy sauce
4 tbsp flour
4 tbsp potato starch
1/2 tbsp ginger
1 clove garlic
Preparation:
1. Cut chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces.
2. Mix ginger juice, soy sauce, sake and grated garlic in a bowl. Marinate chicken pieces in the sauce for 20 minutes.
3. Mix flour and potato starch and dust meat in mixture.
4. Heat vegetable oil in a pan and fry chicken pieces until them turn brown.
5. Get them out and dry with a paper towel. After that fry again for 3-4 minutes. Get them out and dry.
