Tonkatsu
Tonkatsu is a Japanese pork chop. Not only pork can be used but chicken as well. If tonkatsu is served with rice it refers to katsudon.
Ingredients (1 serving):
1 pork chop (120 g)
2 tbsp flour
2 cups breadcrumbs
1 egg
Sauce for Tonkatsu to taste
Preparation:
1. Put flour lightly on the pork. Dip the pork in whisked egg. Put breadcrumbs on the pork and roll in them well.
2. Fill in the pan with oil so that pork has been covered completely. Fry until it turns brown about 5-6 min.
