Oyakodon
Oyakodom

Oyakodon is one of the favorite dishes of the Japanese. It is eaten at work and often cooked at home as it doesn't require any special products. You will need only chicken meat and eggs.

Ingredients (4 servings):
360 g. (2 cups) rice
1 chicken hip without skin
200 g. leek
8 eggs
For broth:
6 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp sugar
500 ml dashi

Preparation:
1. Boil rice.
2. Cut chicken meat into cubs of 2x2. Cut onion.
3. Put ingredients for broth into a pot and bring to the boil. Put there chicken meat and boil for a while.
4. Each portion is to be cooked separately from the others. Pour ? of the broth with chicken meat, add 2 slightly beaten up eggs. Boil eggs to the soft-boiled condition shaking the pot from time to time.
5. Put hot rice in a rice bowl pour broth with chicken and eggs over it.
