Mame gohan (rice with peas)
Ingredients (4 servings):
2 cups rice
1/2 cup pea
Salt
For rice:
2,5 cups water
1 tbsp sake
1 tsp salt
Preparation:
1. Put rice in a bowl and wash it with cold water. Drain rice in a colander and set aside for 30 min.
2. Wash the peas and sprinkle salt on it.
3. Place rice in a pan or rice cooker and add water, sake, and salt and mix it. Add peas and boil rice as usual.
