Yakimono

Yakizakana
Yakizakana

Many people know one of the most popular dishes of the Japanese cuisine, which is called "yakitori". But not everyone knows that yakitori is some type of yakimono. The name yakimono is derived from the hieroglyph "Yaku", which means preparing on the open fire. In Japan yakimono means not a certain dish but the way of preparing products that are spit and grilled. Such a way is used for preparing mainly seafood and sometimes vegetables. Dishes yakimono, made on the open fire, preserve its natural taste, all its useful properties. And a slight smell of the smoke tangs it.
