Katsuo (striped tuna)
Striped tuna is a thermophilic fish. It migrates in warm currents near Hokkaido. Tuna has very strong smell of blood. That's why laying in fresh way (sashimi) has to be preceded by special processing with ginger. Striped tuna is a seasoned product.
Some special powders are also made of tuna (dashinomoto). This powder contains all the healthy minerals and cells.
