Earlier tofu was eaten hot and it was called yu-yakko that is yakko in hot water. Nowadays, there is no such name; it was changed on yu-dofu. Yu-yakko always was considered the dish of the Kansai region. And now it is said about yu-dofu that it's so tasty that you can lose your tongue.
