Content of energy in products

We all remember the advertisement with a little rabbit which runs faster and longer than his rivals (toys as he is) thanks to special batteries. We also need energy. And not only in a daytime, when we are running like the rabbit from the advertisement, but at night as well. But we can't receive energy from batteries. We receive it from food. And there are a lot of temptations in it!

Who doesn't like to eat tasty food? Do you know such people? I don't know them! We are all very different and we also like different food: sushi, shi with pies, yakitori, borsh and onigiri. But they all consist of protein, fat, carbohydrates. Yes, they do! In such variety there is such unity! It's very important to know how to count all these proteins, fats and carbohydrates, which give us very useful life energy. But why do we have to count them? The thing is that our body always has to keep the balance; like in an accounting department .But in the accounting department we count money whereas in food we count Kcals. These Kcals get to our body from different products and in different quantity.

For example,
In 1 g. of fat there are 9 Kcal,
In 1 g. of protein there are 4 Kcal,
In 1 g. of carbohydrates there are 4 Kcal.

One tablespoon of oil has the same quantity of energy as half of a bowl with rice. So if you want to watch the balance, you should know mathematics well and multiply grams (or kilograms, it depends on every particular person) on Kcal. And don't forget about beverages. They also have Kcals. In 1 milliliter of clear 100% alcohol there are 7 Kcals. If you have eaten 140 grams of chicken fillet and washed it down with beer, don't be lazy, count the calories. But if you by chance have lost your guard and consumed too much calories simple mathematics wouldn't help you. You will have to use some other means here.

For example, sports.
If you have noticed 200 extra Kcals in your body, you have to do the following to get rid of them:

Walking: men - 68 minutes, women - 88 minutes,

Walking downstairs: men - 44 minutes, women - 62 minutes,

Walking upstairs: men - 24 minutes, women - 30 minutes.

If you have managed to cope with this problem, remember the following: scientists from the Japanese institute of nutrition have counted the daily norm of energy consumption which is1600 Kcals. These Kcals get into our body from four groups of products:

Group 1 - milk products (contain calcium, iron, vitamins A and B, protein)

Group 2 - meat, fish, bean (contain protein, vitamins B1, B2, iron, calcium)

Group 3 - vegetables and fruits (contain mineral substances, vitamin C, vegetable fibers)

Group 4 - grain and other products (bread, rice, sugar, soy sauce, oil, margarine, salt).

All these groups are presented not equally in our body: group 4 has more than 50% of energy which clearly illustrates disbalance.

But how can we think about the balance while eating? We can only enjoy this time! A human's tongue is said to be able to distinguish four types of taste: sweet, sour, salty and bitter. The receptors of sweet taste are located at the front (on the tip of the tongue), salty and sour taste - on both sides of a tongue, and the bitter taste is distinguished by the part of a tongue located near a throat. Every taste carries its own information:

Sweet taste reflects energy, sour and bitter ones tell about the content of poisons, and salty one reflects the presence of salt in food.

There are some people, who understand tastes of humans. These are Japanese chefs.
